NATIVE GRASS MIXTURE
Successfully establishing native species in Zone 10 following soil disturbance is extremely difficult. Competition during establishment from winter and summer annual broadleaf & grassy weeds is a limiting factor to proper establishment. For specific recommendations for habitat mitigation, native plantings and seed availability, please call Cebeco International Seeds, Inc. for options. (1-800-445-2251).

NOTES:  Sodseeding is the term used to describe the practice of establishing forage crops into perennial, usually grass dominant, hay and/or pasture fields without destroying the existing sod. Many other terms are also used to describe this practice including: renovation, overseeding, interseeding, frost seeding, honey comb freeze seeding, no-till seeding, as well as, tread-in, trampling and walk-on seeding. Sodseeding is is practiced extensively in zones 8 through 12.
